This year I’m getting in early! Although Mother’s Day is still a few weeks away, it’s never too soon to start shopping for something special to give to our Mum’s. Rather than resorting to a standard gift of bath products or pajamas (which are totally fine if that’s what your Mum wants!) why not consider some gorgeous homewares...
1- Bouquet White - Rijksmuseum
This beautiful and innovative way to display art makes an ideal gift. This Dutch designed system, made up of individual squares and connectors, is supplied in a compact box with assembly tools so you can piece it together. Made in the Netherlands the cards are barely 0.5mm thick and are made from synthetic material that wears well and is UV resistant.
2-Jewellery Dish – Stuck in the Mud Pottery
There are many great finds on Etsy, especially when it comes to unique and thoughtful gifts. Stuck in the Mud Pottery offers an appealing range of ceramics, however these cute jewellery dishes caught my eye due to their romantic hues and simple design. Also included is pretty present-worthy packaging.
3- Brass x Resin Cheese Knife - Kip & Co
If your Mum loves cheese as much as mine, then this resin and brass cheese knife will be a wonderful addition to the home. In true Kip & Co style the colourful knives, available in a range of colours, are sure to make a statement.
4- Grey Feather Print - Olive Et Oriel
This finely detailed grey feather print is stunning in its simplicity and is sure to fit seamlessly into your Mum’s home. All products from Olive Et Oriel are professionally printed with top quality ink on heavyweight matte stock ensuring they are fade resistant. All that’s left to do is select a suitable frame!
5- Jimmy Ceramic Espresso Cups - Hunting For George
Help your mum sit back and relax this Mother’s Day with these charming espresso cups. These stoneware, speckled cups come as a set of two so you can share your love of coffee with your Mum.
6- Seaglass Tweed Pot - Jones & Co
As much as I love fresh flowers, for a gift that lasts a little longer consider a pot and fill it with a plant. This delightful pot from Jones & Co is available in over 15 colours; however I love this pastel hue. The Seaglass Tweed Pot fits potted herbs or succulents and will fit perfectly on your Mum’s kitchen bench, bath hob or window sill.
